A certified organic single-herb tincture of Fresh Valerian Root (Valeriana officinalis).
Valerian Root may help ease muscle aches and cramps. It may be mildly sedating for some. It has been traditionally used by herbalists to aid in relieving occasional cramps associated with menstruation. May also help relax the central nervous system and smooth muscle groups.
Modern Applications:
Valerian is indicated to support a variety of nervous system imbalances such as depression and anxious tendencies, relax hysterical episodes, for seizures and epileptic presentations, and as a general sedative.
The British Herbal Pharmacopoeia recognizes Valerian as a spasmolytic and relaxant used to remedy migraines, intestinal colic, rheumatic pains, restlessness and insomnia, and dysmenorrhea. It is also used to encourage delayed or uncomfortable menstrual cycles, to relieve painful cramping, and sooth both mental and physical tension
Directions
Shake well before use. Place 1 serving under the tongue for 30 seconds to 1 minute then swallow.
